The Maharashtra Housing and Area Development Authority (MHADA) has launched its Pune lottery for October 2024, offering a total of 6,294 affordable housing units across Pune, Pimpri-Chinchwad, and other regions. The online registration began on October 10, and applications will be accepted until November 12, 2024, with payments for the Earnest Money Deposit (EMD) due by November 13. Applicants who wish to participate must be over 18 and fall into designated income categories (LIG, MIG, or HIG) to qualify for different housing options.
The lottery features several schemes, including the First-Come, First-Served (FCFS) scheme with 2,340 homes, 418 units under the Pradhan Mantri Awas Yojana (PMAY), and others through comprehensive and social housing plans. The provisional list of eligible applicants will be posted on MHADA’s site on November 23, with the final lottery draw set for December 5, 2024.
