Steps to Update HOF in Aadhaar Address

1. Gather Required Documents:
   • Your Aadhaar card.
   • Proof of Relationship (POR) document showing a relationship with the current HOF (such as a marriage certificate, birth certificate, etc.).
   • The Aadhaar card of the current HOF for validation and approval.
2. Log into UIDAI Portal:
   • Go to the UIDAI website.
   • Click on My Aadhaar > Update Your Aadhaar > Update Address Online.
3. Select “Update Address via Head of Family (HOF)”:
   • Choose the “Update Address via HOF” option. You’ll need to enter your Aadhaar details and follow the instructions to proceed.
4. Enter HOF’s Aadhaar Number and Relationship:
   • You’ll be asked to enter the Aadhaar number of the HOF.
   • Choose your relationship with the HOF from the dropdown list and upload a POR document (Proof of Relationship).
5. HOF Approval:
   • Once submitted, a service request is sent to the HOF’s registered mobile number for approval.
   • The HOF has to approve the request within 30 days for the update to be processed. They can do this through the link sent to their registered mobile.
6. Check Status:
   • After the HOF’s approval, your Aadhaar address should be updated within a few days.
   • You can check the status on the UIDAI portal using the Update Request Number (URN) provided.
